Courage to Lead® for School Leaders

2009 Retreat Series

Sustaining the Commitment to Lead for Equity in Schools

New leadership is needed for new times. It will come as we who lead find the courage to take an inner journey—a journey that, faithfully pursued, will take us beyond ourselves to become healers in a wounded world.

~Parker J. Palmer

This series is for YOU, a school leader with a passion for social justice, who wants to:

  • Strengthen the courage, clarity, and confidence needed to address the complex dilemmas that arise in leading schools trying to close the achievement gap
  • Re-connect with deeply-held core values
  • Challenge your assumptions and allow insights from diverse stories to broaden your perspective
  • Increase your commitment and skill in working effectively with internal and external conflicts
  • Build support and connection with others to keep going and growing
  • AND STILL sustain your own health, energy, and life balance

Get back (or stay) on track in being the kind of leader you always meant to be -consistently acting in alignment with your deeply held core values.
